When the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center, Roselle and her blind owner, Michael Hingson, were on the 78th floor. Amid the chaos — the smoke, the screams, and the blaring alarms — Roselle stayed calm. With steady determination, she guided Michael through the burning tower, step by step, stair by stair, all the way down 1,463 steps. But Roselle didn’t just save Michael — she also helped lead around 30 others to safety, proving that courage has no language, only instinct and love.
