Disney’s Lilo & Stitch (2025) live-action remake, released in May, brings the beloved 2002 classic to vibrant life. Maia Kealoha shines as Lilo, capturing her quirky spirit, while Chris Sanders’ CGI Stitch is a mischievous, adorable standout, blending seamlessly into the lush Hawaiian backdrop.

 Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the film keeps ‘ohana at its heart, with colorful lūʻau scenes and heartfelt moments. New characters like Tūtū and Mrs. Kekoa add fresh dynamics, though some plot changes feel uneven.  At 108 minutes, the action-packed story delights families but stumbles with pacing at times. A nostalgic, charming update that’s imperfect but full of aloha.
