Teen Heroes on Bikes Save Little Girl from Kidnapping

In Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a frightening situation turned into a tale of bravery and hope. Five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas was playing near her home when a stranger tricked her into getting into his car by promising her ice cream. As police and neighbors searched desperately, time was running out, but nobody gave up hope of finding her safe.

Fifteen-year-old Temar Boggs and his friend decided to take action themselves. They got on their bikes and started looking around the neighborhood for anything unusual. Soon, they spotted a suspicious maroon car with a little girl inside who looked frightened. Instead of ignoring the danger, the teens courageously followed the car, determined to help.

The driver tried to get away quickly, but Temar and his friend did not stop. They chased the man for nearly fifteen minutes, showing great determination and strength. Finally, the kidnapper stopped and let Jocelyn out of the car. She immediately ran to Temar, telling him she wanted her mommy, safe and scared but unharmed.

Thanks to the bravery of these young heroes, Jocelyn was saved and reunited with her family. The whole town celebrated Temar and his friend as real heroes. Temar said he felt proud to help, and his courage reminds us that heroism can come from anyone—no matter their age. Their quick thinking and fearless spirit made a difference that day.
